The Nando’s design team developed a sophisticated colour scheme for the new St. James retail park in Dover, which PA Hollingworth Decorators were tasked with delivering within a strict timeframe. It was vital to the client that the decorating be completed by a set date, ready for opening night. As such, the client had to use a Kent based decorating contractor that they could trust, in terms of quality and professionalism.
Commercial decorating requires the flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile for clients to ensure their business is not affected by delays. Our Kent decorators were able to work outside normal working hours to ensure that the site had an efficient flow of trades during the day. This also meant that our decorating quality was not compromised by working around other trades during normal working hours.
The Nando’s design team created a two-tone scheme for the dining area and, using laser levels, our skilled decorators were able to mark and paint out the precise and sharp lines required by the client. No mean feat over the distances present in the room.
The restroom walls specified by the designers was a rough cast render, which brought its own challenges when it came to the decorating stage. Our knowledgeable and experienced decorators scored a thin line through the uneven surface, which allowed for straight and accurate cutting-in lines on an otherwise undulating wall.
PA Hollingworth Decorating takes pride in extremely clean and tidy work and this was particularly important during the Nando’s Dover project. Due to the high specification throughout the new restaurant, PA Hollingworth Decorating ensured that all fixtures, fittings and floors were meticulously protected during the works, a point noted and appreciated by the client.
